  2. 10cc's Kevin Godley and Lol Creme penned this song about the latter's hatred of hospitals. Creme explained to NME February 7, "My old man was in hospital for a long time and I had to visit him and I've always had a childhood aversion to hospitals. And it got to me and that was personal and it was very pleasant lunacy.
  3. Strangely, for some reason, on every CD release of the 10cc debut album up until Repertoire's reissue the track order has been incorrect. The DCC CD puts "Rubber Bullets" first (maybe because it was "the hit" off the LP) and then follows the correct order from there, which ruins the cool segue from "Rubber Bullets" into "The Hospital /5(7).

  7. 10cc's first two albums, recorded under the sponsorship of entrepreneur and one-time pop star Jonathan King, are combined on one disc for this CD reissue. 's 10cc shows that from the start, the group had an uncommon command of recording studio technique; the performances are polished, the harmonies superb, and the production flawless and often witty (all the more remarkable from a new band.
  8. LP (12" album, 33 rpm) 10cc Format: Vinyl. "Brand New Day" is a fascinating song, and as usual 10cc takes its beautiful intro in unpredictable directions. "Flying Junk" is a blues-rocker about the pusher man. Great album. I had it on vinyl back in the 70's but sold it along with much of my collection when I went to live Australia/5().
